With psychosocial structures currently disintegrating into chaos and with materialistic, mechanistic science unable to solve this problem, I have used my pattern-detecting skills as a mathematician and information systems architect in business to write an 18-page summary of my forty years study of the psychodynamics of society.

The essay is titled ‘Our Human Story’, with three sections titled ‘A science of humanity’, ‘Our evolutionary story’, and ‘Awakening to Total Revolution’, available on the website for the Alliance for Mystical Pragmatics.

I trust that this holistic, transdisciplinary perspective could help further stimulate the awakening of intelligence and consciousness, assisting us to collectively unify science and mysticism in Love, Peace, Wholeness, and the Truth in Stillness and the Presence of the Divine.

By understanding the root cause of conflict and suffering in the world, I continue to seek World Peace by uploading two further chapters in my final book on Unifying Mysticism and Mathematics, whose subtitle is To Realize Love, Peace, Wholeness, and the Truth, with these covers. For we cannot find genuine Inner Peace without ending the long-running war between science and religion, recognizing that God and the Universe are a single, undivided Being, inseparable from us as humans.

This also means recognizing that there is a primary-secondary relationship between the Eastern mystical and Western scientific worldviews, much easier for those imbued with Eastern spirituality than for those educated in the West. However, being a pandit, as a scholar of the scriptures, can also act as a hindrance to realizing the Truth that sets us free.

Following the first chapter titled ‘Business Modelling’, Chapter 2 is titled ‘Integral Relational Logic’, showing how, by starting afresh at the very beginning, these multidimensional business modelling methods have evolved into the commonsensical art and science of thought and consciousness we all implicitly use everyday to form concepts and organize our ideas.

This holographic, nonaxiomatic mathematical logic has emerged in consciousness through introspection to answer the most critical unanswered question in science: What is causing scientists and technologists, aided and abetted by computer technology, to drive the pace of scientific discovery and technological development at unprecedented exponential rates of acceleration?

As Integral Relational Logic has evolved from the modelling methods that information systems architects in business use to build the transcultural, transdisciplinary Internet, it can be used to integrate all knowledge in all cultures and disciplines into a coherent whole, thereby healing the fragmented mind and split psyche in Wholeness.

Most significantly, Integral Relational Logic enables us to admit synergistic, psychospiritual energies into rational thought, initiated by the Divine Power of Life, called Prāna in Sanskrit, emerging from Ākāsha, as the Æther, undetectable by our physical senses.

We are thus empowered to complete the final revolution in science, unifying the nonphysical and physical energies at work in the Universe, just as Johannes Kepler and Isaac Newton completed the first in the 1600s with New Astronomy, The Harmony of the World, and Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy.

To illustrate the taxonomic power of Integral Relational logic in action, Chapter 3 ‘From Zero to Transfinity’ shows how mathematics can be viewed as a generative science of beautiful patterns and relationships, emerging directly from the Divine Origin of the Universe, free from its axiomatic, linear constraints.

Beginning with Zero, related to Shūnyāta ‘Emptiness’ in Buddhism, it then gives an overview of the principal classes of number, from natural numbers and integers, through rationals and reals, to complex numbers, quaternions, and octonians. After many centuries of struggle to accept all these different types of number, their discovery indicates that human learning is reaching its natural conclusion, for there are no more major classes of number to be revealed.

The second section covers the operators between numbers, beginning with counting, addition, and multiplication and their inverses. It then shows how exponentiation and ever-increasingly powerful operators lead to gigantically enormous finite numbers, which never reach infinity.

The final two sections show how mathematicians generally look at infinite and infinitesimal numbers. The first of these describes the rather confused psychohistory of the infinitesimal calculus, at the core of quantitative, mechanistic science. It offers some fresh insights into the concepts of functional continuity and the continuum of the reals from the perspective of the Absolute Continuum.

Section four shows how Georg Cantor’s transfinite numbers, as infinities of infinities, lead naturally to Transfinity, called in Sanskrit Satchitānanda ‘Bliss of Absolute Truth and Consciousness’, transcending the paradoxes that have so troubled mathematicians since the late 1800s. For in this Divine, Nondual manner, there is then no longer any separation between mathematics and mysticism, or between any other opposites.

This wonderful unification leads to a comprehensive science of humanity, as the solution to the ultimate problem of thousands of years of human learning at evolution’s glorious culmination, known as its Omega Point, inseparable from its Alpha Point at the Still Centre of the Cosmos.

There are then no longer any divisions between the sciences and the humanities, which are all aspects of transdisciplinary Panosophy or the Unified Relationships Theory. This is popularly known as the perplexing Theory of Everything, which is elusive because of the mistaken belief that the Universe consists only of what is accessible to our five physical senses.

We can only understand what is happening to us all at the present time by looking inwards with unconditioned Self-reflective Intelligence, which is also necessary to comprehend Unifying Mysticism and Mathematics, as a mirror for what is within.

From a personal perspective, the principal purpose of Unifying Mysticism and Mathematics is to find God through science, as the subtitle indicates: To Realize Love, Peace, Wholeness, and the Truth. Such an awakening, liberating process is absolutely essential to deal equanimously with the near-term extinction of Homo sapiens, most probably through abrupt climate change.

I describe an overview of this critical global situation in the Epilogue, making some suggestions on how we could resolve the greatest existential crisis that our species has faced since our forebears set out thousands of years ago to seek an understanding of what it means to be human in relationship to God and the Universe.

Specifically, with Gens X, Y, and Z likely to be the last generations of children to be born on our beautiful planet Earth, we now have only a few months to complete the final revolution in science, helping them to see how they should have been educated to live with the unprecedented rate of evolutionary change that scientists and technologists are unknowingly driving today.

For it is not generally known that fourteen billion years of evolution passed through its Accumulation Point in chaos theory terms in 2004, give or take a couple of years, explaining why the world is degenerating into chaos at the moment, with rising isolationism, ultranationalism, and demagogical populism.

In my experience, there is only one way to deal with the polarization that is dividing groups of humans against each other: to live in harmony with the fundamental law of the Universe, recognizing that opposites are never separate from each other in Reality. Heraclitus aptly called this universal, irrefutable truth the Hidden Harmony, which Aristotle denied, sending Western thought into the cul-de-sac it has reached today.

Yet, even though an awakening minority live in twilight, with the majority in darkness, perhaps it is still possible to disperse the clouds that inhibit us from realizing in the depth of our beings that the brilliant light of Cosmic Consciousness is Ultimate Reality. By realizing that we are all interconnected with each other, perhaps a miracle could still happen before our inevitable demise, helping us realize our True Nature in kindness and compassion for each other, collectively revealing God as Stillness, Presence, Love, Peace, Wholeness, and the Truth.

In order for evolution to be fully conscious of itself in us humans—as intelligent beings—we need to answer the most critical unanswered question in science: What is causing scientists and technologists, aided and abetted by computer technology, to drive the pace of scientific discovery and technological development at unprecedented exponential rates of acceleration?

To answer this question, we need to look at the business world through the meaningful modelling methods of information systems architects rather than the quantitative financial models of accountants, bankers, and economists, enabling us to create a comprehensive model of the psychodynamics of society.

To explain what I mean by this as succinctly as possible, I have written the first chapter on ‘Business Modelling’ in my final book titled Unifying Mysticism and Mathematics: To Reveal the Cosmic Foundation and Framework for All Knowledge, now with a new subtitle: To Realize Love, Peace, Wholeness, and the Truth.

The central idea in this chapter is very simple but not easy to assimilate into consciousness by those who deny the existence of Life bubbling up from the Divine Origin of the Universe, like a fountain.

Such a radical change in the way that we view causality is absolutely essential if we are to become free of the mechanistic cause-and-effect paradigm that has governed Western thought for millennia.

As this first chapter describes, I began to question the traditional causality paradigm when developing a pioneering marketing programme for decision support systems in the late 1970s for IBM in London.

For IBM’s principal management information tool at the time was able to dynamically create functions, execute them, and then erase them as if they had never existed, known as metaprogramming today.

Such a possibility arises because in stored-program computers, programs and the data they process are stored together in memory as strings of zeros and ones. So could a computer program itself without human intervention? As every program has come into existence through the execution of a previous program in a long cause-and-effect chain, where did the first program come from?

Aristotle’s answer to a similar question is that an Unmoved Mover acts as the Primary Cause of all change in the Universe, which Thomas Aquinas used to prove the existence of God in five different ways in Summa Theologiæ. Today, this first cause is sometimes regarded as a big bang, which supposedly brought the universe—as mass, space, and time—into existence around 13.8 billion years ago.

But such a notion does not explain how humans are able to create programs and other theories and artefacts that have never existed before in the manifest world of form. To understand what is happening to humanity at the present time, it is essential that we let Life into science in the Eternal Now, beyond past and future.

The urgency of such a total transformation of consciousness became crystal clear in two articles published in The Guardian yesterday.

First, under the rubric Man 1, machine 1: landmark debate between AI and humans ends in draw, Olivia Solon reported on a debate between humans and a machine at IBM’s San Francisco office on two topics: “we should subsidize space exploration” and “we should increase the use of telemedicine”.

The machine is called Project Debater, a development of IBM’s Watson supercomputer, which beat humans in the TV quiz game Jeopardy! in 2011. Project Debater is intended to show that computers with so called artificial intelligence could mine vast quantities of data, thereby finding patterns that could aid human decision-making.

The consensus of this demonstration was that the machine was better in terms of the amount of information it conveyed, but worse at delivering its arguments in full flowing spoken prose. One reason for this is that science, medicine, and economics are still stuck in their mechanistic, materialistic, and monetary worldview, not realizing that Consciousness—as Ultimate Reality—is all there is.

The confusion about the nature of Consciousness was highlighted in a ‘long-read’ article in The Guardian titled Out of their minds: wild ideas at the ‘Coachella of consciousness’ on the 2018 Science of Consciousness conference by Tom Bartlett, a senior writer at The Chronicle of Higher Education.

This annual conference—put on by the University of Arizona under the aegis of its Center for Consciousness Studies—began in 1994 under the more modest title ‘Toward a Science of Consciousness’. Its intention was to provide a forum to debate what David Chalmers called the Hard Problem of Consciousness Studies: how is it that consciousness arises from the brain?

Of course, this question cannot be answered within science as it has been practised since the first scientific revolution, introduced by Johannes Kepler and Isaac Newton in the 1600s, because as mystics well know, the physical universe, including the brain, emerges from Consciousness.

This is essentially the Eastern worldview, at the heart of the ancient wisdom, known to Gottfried Leibniz as philosophia perennis and Newton as prisca sapientia.

However, the new-age guru Deepak Chopra, who spoke at the conference, rather muddied the waters, as he has been doing for some years. It seems that he still wants to perpetuate the conflict of opposites, as exemplified by a book that he co-authored with Leonard Mlodinow, titled War of the Worldviews: Science vs. Spirituality.

For myself, the only way I know how to resolve this dilemma—completing the final revolution in science—is to engage in self-inquiry with a thought experiment that starts afresh at the very beginning, like a computer switching itself off and on again, so that it has no programs within it, not even a bootstrap program to load the operating system.

Having described the business modelling problem that I was wrestling with during the winter of 1980 before I abandoned my innovative business career with IBM, this summer I plan to write Chapter 2 of my new book on ‘Integral Relational Logic’, the commonsensical science of thought and consciousness that we all use to form concepts and organize our ideas in tables and networks.

As Integral Relational Logic is the rational science that lies beneath the foundations of mathematics, it can be used to organize all knowledge in all cultures and disciplines at all times into a coherent whole. This second chapter will be a little longer than a 22-page article that I wrote in 2013 and a summary of the definitive exposition of Integral Relational Logic, which forms Volume I of a trilogy on Wholeness: The Union of All Opposites.

My several books, essays, and articles, outlined in a bibliographic essay, show how this universal system of thought can be used to map any discipline whatsoever, including mathematics, enabling us to realize Love, Peace, Stillness, and Presence at the heart of the Cosmos.

So to tidy up my various writings on mapping mathematics, during the autumn and winter of 2018 and 2019, I plan to write three chapters on how mathematics can be viewed as a generative science of patterns and relationships emerging directly from the Divine Origin of the Universe, rather than viewing it as an axiomatic, deductive, and mechanistic proof system, which eschews self-contradictions.

The revolution in science that has been unfolding during the past few decades is utterly different from those that Newton, Darwin, and Einstein introduced. For to show that Consciousness is Ultimate Reality—not matter, space, and time—we need to engage in self-inquiry, demonstrating in our own experience that mystical psychology is the primary science, not physics or biology.

During the past few years I have written several books and many essays and articles intended to complete the final revolution in science if they were ever published in printed form. Now, to explain how we could consummate the sacred marriage of science and spirituality, I have written a 30-page bibliographical essay titled ‘Panosophical Bibliography: Completing the Final Revolution in Science’.

Panosophy is the transcultural, transdisciplinary synthesis of all sciences and humanities, healing the fragmented, split mind in Wholeness, more familiarly known as the elusive Theory of Everything, the solution to the ultimate problem in human learning.

Panosophy is also called the Unified Relationships Theory, showing that no beings are separate from any other being, including the Supreme Being, for an instant. So there is no point in fighting each other for a slice of the finite monetary cake, trapped in the economic machine.

If we are to realize Love and Peace, resolving the great global crisis that humanity faces today, we can only do so by harmonizing evolutionary convergence, recognizing that opposites are never separate from each other in Reality, liberated from the constraints of our cultural conditioning.

So do please download the bibliography and pass it on to your friends and associates. For even at this late hour, we have the golden opportunity to awaken to our fullest potential as superintelligent superhumans, far beyond the capabilities of machines, like algorithmic computers.

In May 1980, I began an experiment in learning that started afresh at the very beginning in order to heal my fragmented, split mind in Wholeness, as the union of all polar opposites.

However, as a consequence, for the past thirty-eight years, I have been living as an outsider to society, as it is currently constituted, driven more by divisive, either-or thinking than a holistic, both-and approach to life.

As I still feel that I have a worthwhile contribution to make to society, I’ve written a two-page flyer on this dilemma, trusting that in so doing it could help to resolve it.

At the request of Ananta Kumar Giri of the Madras Institute of Development Studies, I have written a revised essay on ‘Mystical Pragmatics: Harmonizing Evolutionary Convergence’, as an introduction to the Alliance for Mystical Pragmatics.

The main change from the essay four years ago is that I met Guy McPherson in Oslo in December, learning why the likelihood of abrupt climate change in the near future is the greatest existential risk facing humanity today.

But while grieving for humanity, I continue to live in the moment, trusting that in so doing we could come fully alive, realizing our True Immortal Nature in union with the Divine, before the inevitable death of our species at the end of time, foreseen by the seers through the ages.
